CARE

A collaborative initiative dedicated to improving the health, well-being, and social inclusion of South Asian women in Hong Kong.

About CARE

Through a series of research projects, we built an academic-community partnership with South Asian women in Hong Kong. By employing different participatory research methods, we explore the communicative, sociocultural, emotional and structural challenges faced by South Asian communities, particularly women, as they navigate healthcare systems, public health policies, and everyday life.

In response to the insights gathered, some of our projects also co-develop and implement community-based programs that provide care and support tailored to the specific needs of the women identified through the research.
